Chais Sports provides tennis coaching to children across several schools in Oxfordshire and Hampshire as well as both children and adults at Benson Tennis Club, Warborough Tennis Club (SWATA) and Kingsclere Tennis Club

When you sign up to our coaching program you are entering into a subscription for you, your child or children to train with Chais Enterprises Limited trading as Chais Sports, Registered Company Number 13498812, Our registered Company Address is Talbott Hall House, Main Street, East Challow, Oxfordshire, OX12 9SL.

General terms and conditions

Chais Sports and the hosts of this site accept no responsibility for and exclude all liability in connection with browsing this site, use of information on this site and downloading any material from it including but not limited to any liability for errors, inaccuracies, omissions or misleading or defamatory statements.

Whilst we hope you find the contents of this website informative, the contents are for general information only. We believe the contents to be true and accurate as at the date of writing but can give no assurances or warranty regarding the accuracy, currency or applicability of any of the information in relation to specific services and activities we provide and arrange.

Chais Sports products and services communicated in this website and any other promotional literature can be removed or amended at any given time depending on availability.

Fees and payments

One-time Fees

A one off £2.50 fee for your first taster session and your player profile activation will apply, when joining our coaching program.

Subscription Fees

1. Our standard monthly coaching session subscription fee is £36.
2. You must be signed up to our monthly credit/debit card subscription plan through the profile on our website, this guarantees you or your child’s place with Chais Sports. (Chais Sports coaching sessions run throughout the year, including during school holidays for 47 weeks of the year. The programme breaks for Bank Holidays, a one-week period over Easter, a two-week period over Summer and a two-week period for Christmas and New Year. The monthly payments cover all scheduled UK national holidays and 5-week calendar months), therefore you will be charged effectively for 47 weeks of the year.
3. You must add a new credit/debit card to their account on expiry or failure of their primary payment card. Players will not be permitted to attend should 2 consecutive monthly payments fail to be received.
4. All booked sessions must be paid for, regardless of your child’s attendance. Fees are non-refundable in the event of your child’s absence. Fees are also non-refundable in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as poor weather, issues we deem to be detrimental to the Health & Safety of our coaches and players, or if we are delayed or prevented in performing our obligations by an event outside our control (force majeure). Prices are subject to change on 30 days’ notice, please refer to your rights to cancel in the event you do not wish to continue with the coaching subscription following a price increase.

Booking and Payment Processing

We use a third-party booking and management system called iPal who are compliant with payment card industry data security standards (PCI DSS). Terms and conditions and privacy policy can be found on their website.

Medical conditions and special requirements

If you or your child has any known medical conditions or special requirements, then please let us know at the time of booking and in any case on arrival to your first session. Chais Sports may, from time to time, change the coach delivering your sessions. We always recommend you notify a new coach of any previously notified medical conditions or special requirements.

By signing up for a subscription you are confirming you are aware of the nature and scope of the activities operated by Chais Sports. You are authorizing participation for you and/or your child to take part in the coaching sessions and fully understand that normal safety procedures will be implemented during the sessions. You certify that you and/or your child is medically and physically capable of participating in such activities. Chais Sports take no liability for any injuries occurred within the coaching session.

In the event of any player needing first aid assistance at a coaching session, our first aid trained coaches will provide any relevant treatment they deem necessary to help the player.

By signing up for a subscription you consent to the administration of first aid measures, as may be determined necessary by the first aider, including where necessary referral to a doctor and admission to hospital.

Cancellation

You may cancel a subscription by giving 30 days notice. Please email office@chaissports.co.uk to commence the cancellation process and pay the remaining balance for your notice period. This final balance for your notice period will be calculated based on your billing date and will be payable at point of cancellation.

Please note you need to give 30 days’ notice to cancel. You and/or your child may still attend scheduled coaching sessions during this notice period. If after cancelling you then wish to re-instate your place within our coaching programme, your place is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. We also reserve the right to charge an administrative reactivation fee.

You have 7 days to confirm your cancellation and all outstanding balances must be cleared.

On rare occasions, Chais Sports may cancel a scheduled session or suspend your subscription where it is unable to resource the provision of coaching for reasons beyond its control. Where this is the case we will notify you in advance and you will not be charged.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall Chais Sports or any of its staff or officers have any liability whatsoever to any person for any direct or indirect cost, expense, damage or other loss of any kind whatsoever in connection with the coaching services provided under these terms. There are certain liabilities which we cannot exclude by law and nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Your data and privacy

We take the privacy of our players and their parents/guardians very seriously. For full information on what personal data we collect, how we secure it, and your rights please read our privacy policy.

By accepting these terms and conditions, you also agree to the use of photography and videography from training sessions to be used for marketing purposes such as social media, our website, promotional literature and any press related content. If you do not want you or your child to appear in such photography, please notify us upon arrival. Please see our privacy policy for further details.

A player’s place at a Chais Sports coaching session is conditional upon the above Terms & Conditions being adhered to at all times.

We reserve the right to amend and update our Terms and Conditions from time to time, in which event they will be updated on this page and a copy will be sent to you.
